Apricot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, creamed or softened
1 large can evaporated milk, chilled and whipped
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. pkg. apricot jello
1 c. ice water
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Heat pineapple and sugar to boiling.
Remove from heat and add jello and cream cheese.
Mix until cream cheese is dissolved.
Set aside to cool.
When cooled, add ice water and nuts.
Whip chilled can of milk and fold into mixture.
Put in a large mold and chill overnight.
Serves 15.
Preparation: 30 minutes.
