Sausage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head shredded cabbage
    1 c. Northern beans
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1/2 lb. hot or smoked sausage or turkey sausage, sliced
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/2 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain fat.
    Place with other ingredients in pan; cook for 1 1/2 hours.
