Crispy Polynesian Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. butterscotch morsels
    1/2 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter, oil, sugars, egg and vanilla until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels, oats, crushed cereal, coconut and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 14 minutes or until edges are crisp but centers are still slightly soft. Let stand 2 minutes; remove to wire racks. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
