Butternut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add salt, vanilla and flour, mixing well.
Stir in pecans.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Roll each in powdered sugar while warm.
Yield: 3 dozen balls.
