Apple Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    crab or tart apples, pared and sliced
    2 dashes salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Blend all dry ingredients.
    Add milk and egg.
    Mix thoroughly. Dip apple slices in batter for complete coating and fry in 370\u00b0 deep oil for 3 minutes.
    Serve with syrups and jellies.
