Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 beef bouillon cubes
2 lb. ground beef
4 bay leaves
12 c. water
4 large carrots, sliced
4 stalks celery, sliced
4 small onions, diced
4 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. rice or barley
2 medium potatoes, diced
6 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Brown the hamburg.
Add water and bay leaves plus bouillon. Cover and heat to boiling.
Add the rest of ingredients.
Cover and heat to boiling.
Turn heat to low and cook until vegetables are tender.
