Layer Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
10 oz. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. grated Velveeta cheese
2 c. crisp-fried bacon
Preparation

Arrange in layers in order given until you have 2 layers.
Do not mix.
Now take peas out of freezer; do not cook.
Immediately sprinkle them over the above.
With spatula spread mayonnaise over peas.
Next, sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise.
Spread Velveeta cheese over sugar and over top spread bacon.
Refrigerate overnight.
