Gumdrop Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    3 1/2 c. (minus 3 Tbsp.) flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. gumdrops, cut up
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Beat eggs; combine with remaining ingredients.
    Put into 2 greased loaf pans; let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
