Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 (15 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt and soda. Stir in egg and undrained fruit cocktail. Pour into greased 10 x 7-inch baking pan. Blend brown sugar and nuts together and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
