Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef or a mixture of pork and beef
    1 medium size onion, finely chopped (grate) and sauteed in butter or margarine
    1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter
Preparation
    Mix bread crumbs and milk and let stand until thickened, about 20 minutes.
    Put ground beef and chopped onions in the mixture of bread crumbs and milk.
    Add egg, salt and pepper and mix well.
