G.G.'S Ginger Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. molasses
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat molasses to the boiling point.
    Remove from flame.
    Add shortening and stir until shortening is melted.
    When cold, add sifted dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Chill.
    Roll very thin.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a moderately hot oven at 375\u00b0 for 4 to 5 minutes.
