Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. molasses
    1/2 boiling water
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix together flour and sugar.
    Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
    In a separate bowl add the boiling water to molasses, soda and cinnamon.
    Beat mixture until foamy.
    Stir 1/2 of crumb mixture into molasses mixture and pour into pie shell.
    Top with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until pie is firm and lightly brown.
