Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, diced fine
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; add onion and cook over low heat until onion is tender but not brown.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to steaming point and pour over leaf lettuce or spinach.
    Serves 4.
