Mama Heidi'S Quick Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 1/2 to 2 c. self-rising flour
    1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
    2 to 3 c. fresh or frozen blackberries, lightly coated in sugar
Preparation
    Pour berries into a bowl.
    Pour half the sugar over the berries and stir.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put stick of margarine into cake pan. Set in oven to melt butter.
    Mix flour, milk and sugar in mixing bowl. Dough should be same consistency as cake dough.
    May have to add milk or flour to get to proper consistency.
    Pour mixture into cake pan on top of melted butter. Pour fruit into batter.
    Distribute evenly. Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 40 minutes or until brown. Check to make sure dough is baked all the way through.
