Pop Wessons' Caramel Nut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup (not Karo)*
2 sticks butter
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 lb. jar dry roasted salted peanuts
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pecan halves or pieces
6 oz. Rice Crispies
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Preparation

*I do not use Karo syrup.
I use Blackburn or Pride of Dixie.
