Easy Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups self-rising flour
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup oil
    1 cup milk
    1 quart sliced strawberries
    1 cup sugar - mix and let sit until juicy (about 1 hour)
Preparation
    Mix oil and milk, add all at once to dry ingredients, stirring only until mixed.
    Bake in greased 9 inch pan for 12-15 minutes.
    Cut in half while warm and stack layers with strawberries between and on top.
    May cut in squares and make individual servings.
    Oven temperature 450 degrees.
