German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 large potatoes, boiled, cooled and peeled
    5 strips bacon, diced
    1 large onion, minced
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1/2 to 3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    salt and pepper
    5 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Fry bacon and onion together slowly.
    Add the flour, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Turn heat off.
    Taste.
    It must be quite sour.
    Mix the celery and green pepper, then the sliced, cooled potatoes.
    Add to the bacon mixture.
    Warm slowly, so it won't burn.
