Seven Day Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. medium-size cucumbers
    1 qt. white vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers, put in a roasting pan and cover with boiling water.
    Let stand for 24 hours.
    Drain, rinse and repeat this process for 4 days.
