Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    6 mashed bananas
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 large pkg. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water.
    Cool.
    Add fruit and nuts.
    Pour half of mixture into 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Congeal in fridge.
    Reserve other half at room temperature.
    Spread sour cream over congealed mixture.
    Pour the rest of jello mixture over.
    Put back in fridge and congeal.
