Corn Pone Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. chili sauce
    1 c. canned or stewed tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Combine meat, onion, sugar and chili sauce; saute in butter until meat changes color.
    Add tomatoes and beans and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Place meat mixture in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Spread cornbread batter on top of meat mixture.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes, or until brown.
