Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doz. chowder clams
    2 medium potatoes
    2 medium onions
    2 carrots
    1/8 lb. bacon
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Open fresh clams with their own juice and grind in meat grinder.
    Grind potatoes, carrots, onions, bacon and tomatoes. Put in a large kettle.
    Add 1 quart of water, thyme and pepper. Bring to a boil; simmer 1 hour.
