Picciadillo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 medium onion
    1/4 green pepper
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    2 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. green olives
    6 or 7 potatoes
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with olive oil.
    Peel potatoes.
    Cut potatoes in 1/4-inch cubes and then fry in deep fat.
    Drain.
    After beef is brown, add all the other ingredients.
    Potatoes are added last. Serve over cooked rice.
