2 large Bermuda onions, sliced very thin

This pizza is what my Mom
use to say is the real pizza of Italy.
It was served in
our home when we were growing up. As we got older and seeing American pizza, we wanted different toppings on our pizza.
Mom would
always
let
us make one or two with \"our toppings\".
As
I
have
gotten older, my tastes have changed and I prefer
the
plain
pizza
of
my heritage. This pizza was a real family favorite on New Year's Eve.
