Orange Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. crushed pineapple
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 oz. orange Jell-O
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan and heat, then remove from heat. Add Jell-O; stir until dissolved well. Cool. Stir in buttermilk. Fold in Cool Whip and pecans. Add coconut, if desired. Chill. Serves 8.
