Ingredients

5 c. finely chopped peaches
1 c. finely chopped orange
shredded rind or 1 orange
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
6 c. sugar
1 c. brandy
Preparation

Skin and pit peaches.
Chop.
Remove peel, white portion and seeds from oranges.
Chop.
Put all ingredients except brandy into a large kettle.
Boil on medium-high heat, stirring frequently to prevent scorching until mixture thickens, about 45 minutes.
Stir in brandy.
Ladle into jars and seal.
