Pork Chop Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
    2/3 c. rice
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    1 chopped apple
    4 Tbsp. butter, melted
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sliced apple
Preparation
    Trim fat from chops; cook trimmings in skillet until 2 tablespoons accumulate.
    Discard trimmings.
    Brown chops slowly in hot drippings; set aside chops.
    Reserve drippings.
    In same skillet, cook rice and onion in droppings until rice is golden, stirring constantly.
    Stir in water and bouillon.
    Bring to boil. Stir in chopped apple.
    Turn into baking dish.
    Arrange chops on top.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
