Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 scant tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped apples

Preparation

Mix and place in a greased pan.
Put chopped nuts on top. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
