Buttermilk Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 rounded tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. soda (pinch)
    buttermilk (enough to moisten well)
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Heat an iron skillet with approximately 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
    Pour mixture into heated skillet. Bake at 500\u00b0 until brown.
