Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. (scant) salt
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 1/4 c. half and half
2 tsp. maple flavoring or vanilla flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except flavoring and pecans; cook slowly to 234\u00b0.
Add flavoring.
Remove from heat; cool.
Beat and add chopped pecans.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Yield: Approximately 30 pieces.
