Baked Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Mix salt, pepper and flour.
    Roll cut steak pieces in mixture. Add onion to steak pieces and put in frypan; brown nicely.
    Put meat in a 2-quart casserole.
    Put soup and water in frypan and stir until all residue from meat is mixed with liquid.
    Pour mixture over meat in casserole and cover tightly.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
