Cowboy Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, cooked
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    2 c. diced potatoes (cooked separately)
    3 lb. ground beef
    2 cans tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can whole corn
    1 can Ranch Style beans, drained and rinsed
    15 oz. can tomato juice
Preparation
    Cook potatoes
    in
    just
    enough water to cover. Reserve water and add
    tomato juice.
    Fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. In\tbacon
    grease,\tsaute
    onions
    and green pepper. Brown beef, then
    rinse and drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer approximately 30 minutes.
    Freezes well.
