Original Key West Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg yolks
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. lime juice (preferably Key limes)
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell (pastry or crumb)
    6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk.
    Mix well. Add lime juice, blend well.
    Turn into pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually adding sugar.
    Swirl onto pie, spreading to edge of pie shell all around.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven until meringue is pale honey-colored.
