Conch Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 conches (enough to make 1 c. chopped)
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    few drops Tabasco sauce
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. lime juice
Preparation
    Finely chop enough conch to make 1 cup.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add remaining ingredients, including conch.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Heat oil in deep fryer to 375\u00b0.
    Drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil, turning once. Makes about 24 fritters.
