Old Reliable Eggnog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
1 qt. whipping cream
1 c. whiskey
1 c. rum
nutmeg
Preparation

Separate the eggs.
Beat yolks well, then gradually add 1/2 cup of the sugar while still beating.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites to soft peaks, then gradually add 1/4 cup sugar while still beating.
Fold the egg mixtures together.
