Walnut Swiss Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded (room temperature)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients except walnuts and crackers in medium bowl until creamy.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Pack into 2-cup crock or non-metal container; cover tightly, no longer than 2 weeks. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
    Garnish with walnuts if desired.
    Serve with assorted crackers.
