Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. broccoli (fresh or frozen), cooked and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 qt. chicken broth (2 cans)
    1 qt. half and half or milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and add flour over medium heat.
    Add milk and chicken broth and bring to a boil, stirring often.
    Add broccoli that has been steamed in 1/2 cup water.
    Add salt last.
