French Fried Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. oil
    6 onions
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except onions.
    Peel and slice the onions and soak in cold water.
    Dry and separate into rings.
    Dip in batter and deep fry until done (390\u00b0 to 400\u00b0).
    Drain on paper towels.
