1 c. lukewarm milk
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. melted butter or salad oil
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Put in a mixing bowl the lukewarm milk, yeast, salt and flour. Beat thoroughly. Cover and let rise 1/2 hour. Add melted butter or salad oil, light brown sugar, eggs, nutmeg and flour. Beat well. Cover and let rise again until dough is light. Punch down. Add more flour if the dough is too soft to handle.
