Sweet Pickle Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. white vinegar
    3 tbsp. canning salt
    3 c. sugar
    4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
    Pickling cucumbers
    6 pint jars
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and cut into sticks.
    Cover with boiling water and let stand for 4-5 hours.
    Drain and pack into sterilized jars. Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers filling to 1/2 inch of the jar rim. Put caps on and screw band tightly.
    Process for 5 mins.
