Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
5 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 c. chopped onions
2 medium carrots, sliced
1/4 c. catsup
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. dry basil, crushed
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
1/3 c. pearl barley
1 Tbsp. beef bouillon granules
Preparation

In large pan, brown ground beef, stirring to break up meat. Drain off fat.
Add water, undrained tomatoes, onion, carrot, celery, barley, catsup, bouillon and spices, bringing to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour or until tender.
Season to taste.
