3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked
2 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
freshly grated nutmeg (optional)

Have all ingredients at room temperature.
Put oven rack on lower third of oven.
