Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
