Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. Cool Whip
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
Preparation

Beat strawberries, egg whites, sugar and lemon juice in a large bowl at high speed for 15 minutes.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Grease one large or 2 small Pyrex dishes with oleo.
Sprinkle wafer crumbs to cover bottom of dish.
Save half for top.
Spoon mixture over crumbs.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
(Ground walnuts may be added too.)
Cover and chill.
Serves 2.
