Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch fresh broccoli
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 cans milk
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery and mushroom in 2 tablespoons butter; salt and pepper to taste, add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
    Add to the first 3 ingredients.
    Mix, then add the Cheddar cheese.
    Simmer for about 15 minutes.
    May require more milk.
