Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. Granny Smith apples
1/2-1 c. sugar
1/2 -3/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 -1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
Preparation

Peel, core, and slice apples.
Pour lemon juice over them. Combine apples, sugar, and water in a large skillet.
Cover and cook slowly
until tender.\tSprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg into mixture.
Let stand until cool.
Pour into unbaked pie crust that has been sprinkled with bread crumbs.
Dot apples with the butter. Place upper crust over filling and prick with fork.
Seal crusts well with fork dipped in flour.
Brush entire top of pie with milk.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 40 minutes until browned.
