Sweet Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red medium sweet peppers, cored and washed
    12 green medium sweet peppers, cored and washed
    12 medium onions, peeled
    1 1/2 qt. apple cider vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate or chop thin all peppers and onions.
    Combine and scald for 5 minutes in own broth.
    Drain excess liquid.
    Add vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Cook 5 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring often.
    Can in hot jars with hot sealers and caps (180 degrees). Do not move for 12 hours.
    Check for seal before storage.
