Memorable Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 tsp. prepared horseradish
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly all ingredients except shortening, soup and mushrooms.
    Shape into balls.
    In skillet brown meat balls in shortening. Pour off accumulated fat.
    Stir in soup and mushrooms, including liquids.
    Cover.
    Cook over low heat for 20 minutes, or until well done, stirring occasionally.
