Trade Winds Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. macaroni
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 large can pineapple chunks
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
lettuce leaves
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat
1 c. American cheese
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In large skillet, melt margarine with brown sugar.
Add luncheon meat which has been chopped.
Cook and stir until golden brown.
In large bowl combine cooked macaroni, luncheon meat, drained pineapple chunks, cheese and green pepper.
Stir together mayonnaise, sour cream (may use pineapple yogurt), pineapple juice and salt.
Add to macaroni mixture and mix well.
Chill thoroughly.
Serve on lettuce.
Makes 8 servings.
