Public School Apple Crisp-Circa 1950'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium size apples
    3/4 c. quick-cooking oats
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Peel apples and remove core.
    Slice thin and place in greased pie pan.
    In bowl, mix oats, sugar and flour.
    Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
    (You can use a pastry blender or 2 knives to cut mixture.)
    Pour mixture on top of apples and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serves 6.
