Easy Bayou Bog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) smoked sausage link, sliced thin (mild or hot, your choice)
1 c. chopped chicken meat (2 small cans work well)
1 pouch Cajun rice mix
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Saute sausage in regular or electric skillet.
Do not drain grease.
Add chicken (do not drain water) and other ingredients while stirring.
Bring to a boil, then cover and let simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat; stir. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 6 to 8.
